Trainer/Instructor Beth Bales
Beth began riding horses when she was 2
years old. After years of trail riding and riding
at field trials on Tennessee Walking Horses,
Beth started showing Tennessee Walkers at
the age of 10. She showed all over North
Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee, the
highlight being the National Walking Horse
Celebration in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Beth
also won numerous awards, including North
Carolina High Point Pony of the Year.
While in college, Beth decided to try riding
hunter and jumpers. She learned the correct
riding and training methods to excel with this
type of horse while studying under many of
the top trainers in the state. She has also
shown in many of the most prestigious shows.
With her horse Not For Long, Beth won the
Sedgefield Classic. She campaigned several
horses through the years, beginning on the
schooling circuit and eventually concentrating
on the ‘C’ and ‘A’ show circuits.
